The severe thunderstorm clouds that were moving through in the Effingham area
This was taken in my yard right after a rain storm.
Over this past weekend we saw the destruction on what a tornado can do in a matter of minunites. thankfully the dangerouse storms stayed south of us leaving our area just with severe weather, and rain. During tornado season and with our area being aprt of tornado ally we need to remember the cautions we need to take to stay safe in bad weather, have a secure place to go if a tornado should ever strike suck as a closet, bathroom or basement. have a weather radio and first aid kit handy. and if you are even in a storm and a tornando is present never try to our run it pull over and get to low ground. If you are driving and you see flooded waters please do not drive through it, the water could be deeper then it looks. Altho spring is very beautiful and is a sign for new life and beginnings it can be dangerous with the unstable air so please be cautious.
